Book Reviews

‘The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours.’ Alan Bennett

“Many a book is like a key to unknown chambers within the castle of one’s own self.” ― Franz Kafka

Triple Choice Tuesday at Reading Matters

Just a quick post to mention that I am a guest on the brilliant Reading Matters book review site today, taking part in the Triple Choice Tuesday feature, where I am writing about three books that mean a lot to me.

You can find the post here if you'd like to have a read and find out which three books I chose.

Thanks very much to Kim for the chance to take part in this fab feature on her site.

  2. Great choices Lindsay! I haven't read The Outcast but just started The Uninvited Guests today. Looking forward to seeing Sadie Jones at the Newbooks readers' conference.
