Book Reviews

‘The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours.’ Alan Bennett

“Many a book is like a key to unknown chambers within the castle of one’s own self.” ― Franz Kafka

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It has been a great experience writing my blog these past months, bringing together my love of reading with sharing thoughts about books, getting to know other book fans, and finding so many other informative and wonderful book blogs to read, by reviewers and by authors, as well as discovering so many new authors.

Thanks everyone who has visited, commented, shared, read, offered books, and I wish you all the best for the coming year!

Enjoy your reading everyone!

Lindsay :)

  5. Merry Christmas to you too Lindsay! I hope you've had a lovely time this holiday. Looking forward to your review of Lake of Dreams. I've read The Memory Keeper's Daughter and loved that, but have been uhm-ing and ahh-ing about Lake of Dreams.

  6. Belated thanks Toni! I will hopefully finish The Lake of Dreams later this week and post my review. I think it's quite different from TMKD.
